The Loon Chair

I took an EcoFab Furniture Design course where we were tasked with using found or salvaged materials to build a piece of furniture.

When approaching this project I wanted to use a minimal amount of materials, have thoughtful joinery, and ultimately have a chair that is able to be disassembled and moved.

The Loon chair is a flat pack, slotting system chair, that did not use any glue or metal connections. This chair is used entirely of free, scrap, plywood which Studio Mobler donated to me for this project.
